Week 1 Posting - Title/Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Jaden. As of now, I am working toward achieving my BS in Information Technology. Hopefully, this blog will be a representation of my increase in knowledge. Here I will be posting any relevant topics in relation to our BSIT class. Like many of you, I am new to blogging. I am trying to figure this out and the best way to go about formatting and making the blog presentable so bear with me. I guess for this first post I can regurgitate some of the information I mentioned in the previous discussion posts. 

Ever since I was a young child I have interacted with computers. So naturally as I grew older, I was familiar enough with them to perform basic functions and do more advanced things such as play games and various forms of software. After owning laptop after laptop and not getting optimal performance, I decided to stride toward building my own system. I began to research what exactly it would take to build a computer. I looked at the necessary parts, the budget I was aiming for, and the performance I could expect. After constantly watching videos and learning more, I began to get excited about the potential of building my own custom rig. I earned enough money over time to pay for all the parts and start the process. That was 6 years ago. If there is one thing I won’t forget, it was the time and dedication I made towards getting that system together. From researching the parts to the day of the build, I put in the work. Now, I have at least a basic understanding of computer hardware and what each component does. Hopefully, through this class, I can increase my knowledge to take me even further into the world of IT.
